It has always been easier for me to corral my thoughts and bring them into subjection with pen and paper than any other mode of communication.  It is through the use of words that I was able to wrestle through debilitating life events and make sense of the unanswerable.  It has always been through God’s Word that I have been most able to hear His voice and find His direction for my life.  So, it is no wonder that I am the scribe in this dynamic relationship.  It is how I worship God; it is how I express His thoughts to me and others, and it is how I seek to bring others into a vibrant relationship with a loving God who is ever present and ready to listen to our heart’s cry – even when the sentiment is a written word.

Dr. D’Ann V. Johnson is a licensed and ordained minister with over thirty years of ministerial experience. She has earned a B.A. in Biblical Education, an M.A. in Christian Education, and a D.Min. with a concentration in Discipleship and Leadership.

In 1994 she left a corporate position as a course developer and executive trainer to assume a full-time position with New Covenant Christian Ministries, the church she co-founded with her husband in 1991. Her current position as Executive Pastor includes sharing in the teaching and preaching rotation as well as overseeing the day-to-day business operations of the church and its staff and volunteers.

A woman who maintains a consistent life of devotion and a solid walk with the Lord, Dr. D’ works diligently to share with others the key to doing the work of the ministry in excellence.
